Box A
|
| |
|
Everything is getting bigger, and one of the lettuces got
replanted elsewhere (and subsequently bit the dust/compost
heap). I was in a hurry, this was taken just before I left
for Scotland, so you haven't the same detail that I did in
previous months. It was raining.

Table Top
|
| |
|
The table, repository of a variety of plants and tools.
You're seeing the last peas, and a tub of baby carrots
and spring onions.

Box B
|
|
|
|
All planted up, but very little coming up yet. This block will
have baby onions, two kinds of beet, kale, some greens and
broccoli raab and *racks memory* spinach. As well as the
usual radish, green onion, etc.

Teeny Baby Onion
|
| |
|
OK, so it was too close up and blurred. But, this baby onion
was the first to sprout, just before I went to Scotland!

Containers
|
| |
|
The container garden is growing slowly... the brussels sprouts
don't seem to be going anywhere fast.

Block C
|
| |
|
Here's my third square foot block. It's down the steps of the
deck. Nothing's come up here yet, as I only planted it
recently.

Back of Shed
|
| |
|
This is the space just round the corner from Block C,
the back of the shed. The bare earth is going to be a patio,
either for more square foot blocks or for containers.
The irises on the left are getting rather large... This is
one of the original sources of the marauding oxalis!

Back Yard
|
| |
|
Here's a view down the back of the yard, which parallels the
shed and deck. The bush on the right delineates the edge of
my garden, and there's about the same width before the next
mobile home. On the left are roses, with all sorts starting
to grow in the ground. Further on, is the deck with its
jasmine, and at the back a bunch of other plants that I
don't really know.
