I operate a rather simple system: I update every 5-6 weeks. New links sit in the New Weavings section. When I next update, I check the link; if I don't see that it's been reciprocated, you'll get a reminder; if you haven't linked by the next update, off goes your link from my site.

The idea here is to weave, not advertise. :-) I'm looking for an interweaving - in other words, I want to swap links to your site.

If I approach you for a link, that's different; I won't always require a link back in that case. Or if you recommend a site that is not your own, I will go and check it out - but I might not link to it. If it's cool, I will probably try to contact the Webcritter about a linkback: see below.

You can usually tell a good Webcritter by the fact that he or she bothers to respond to emails - even if it might take a while. Generally, if I approach you, I think your site is cool enough to share with the visitors to Annwn. :-) So if you can't be bothered to respond, I probably won't bother to link to you ;-)

What sorts of links am I looking for? Just about everything under the sun. But I won't link to you if your site is full of images and material stolen from other places, if it sends a message of hatred or bigotry of any kind, or if it is pornography or promotes The Adventures of Mr Illegal Activity. I am also not that keen on linking to commercial sites or those huge directories of new age links which are pretty much all the same thing. :-)
