31 March
It's spring, so the calla lily must be out. The little blob inside is a
ladybug, sheltering from the rain. I couldn't get a good close-up
though, but there are worst tents.
[Sunnyvale, CA.]

27 March
Oh the cuuuuute! It burns! [Sunnyvale, CA.]
|
|
26 March
Prickly stuff. (Actually taken on the 25th, too.)
[Alviso, CA.]
|

25 March
A candid of the Clamper historian. [Alviso, CA.]
|
|
24 March
Boredom. (The aftermath of data entry.)
[Sunnyvale, CA.]
|
|
23 March
I took a picture of the signs to remind myself of the location
of a nearby marker, but I like the way it came out--the lines
and the lonely feeling of the location.
[San Jose, CA.]

22 March
Today was National Goof-Off Day. I goofed off. This picture is cropped
to make it stronger, and while it started off with me just photographing
the little bird, it ended up having this enormous wave crashing in the
background, so I cropped to emphasize that.
[Pescadero State Beach, CA.]

21 March
Tonight, I register books. ;-) [Sunnyvale, CA.]
|
|
20 March
The last day of winter went out with a bang--literally. A sharp
thunderstorm and torrential rain was followed by glorious silver-lined
clouds. I liked the silhouette of the wires.
[Sunnyvale, CA.]

19 March
Took the Wind Dancers landmark-hunting today, and as we
went down Murphy Ave. a crow started honking at me. You can't
see the crow, really, but I liked the interplay of the
shadows on the street and old building.
[Sunnyvale, CA.]

|
18 March
Hard to choose today's picture, as there was a lovely close-up of a
velvety flower, too. Still, I liked the way the light plays in
this one, so this one was chosen. [Woodside, CA]

15 March
Trip planning.
[Sunnyvale, CA].

17 March
My friend gave me a sprig of blossoming jasmine from her garden.
I was trying to see how close up I could get.
[Sunnyvale, CA.]
|
|
16 March
View from my dentist's office (well, the plaza outside it, anyway.) I
like the symmetry of this. [Cupertino, CA.]

15 March
Trip planning.
[Sunnyvale, CA].

14 March
Driving along Stephen's Creek, we saw a lot of Weather coming in.
[Cupertino, CA].

|
13 March
No mean feet. (Sorry.)
[Sunnyvale, CA.]
|
|
12 March
In search of snow, all we found was thunderous clouds and a
golden clump of California poppies. This photograph started
off as landscape.
[Alviso, CA.]
|
|
11 March
I went out trying to photograph the snow on our hills, but the
image that caught my imagination was this unplanned
self-portrait.
|
|
10 March
Cat on a bag. ;-)
|
|
09 March
This has been an uninspired kind of a day. So I took a picture of the shallots,
sitting on the chopping board. Now I'm uploading them, and soon I'll be
downloading them. ;-)

08 March
Where goldfish go when they die? Someone had lost a whole bunch of those
little brightly coloured goldfish crackers in the parking lot of our
local post office. I was attracted the primary colours and the
surreality of their little crushed cracker bodies. This is a crop from
the centre, which was taken at full 7.1 megapixel resolution. It reminds
me of the powder paints we used at school when I was a kid. [Sunnyvale,
CA.]
|
|
07 March
It's waining! A wot! [Sunnyvale, CA.]
|
|
06 March
I accompanied my friend to the dentist on the way to the gym, and this
incredibly weird tree was growing in the atrium. It looks a bit like one
of the aliens in "The Far Side"...the ones with tentacles and eyes on
those tentacles. I have no idea what it is. [Milpitas, CA.]

05 March
We'd just patched up the hole in my bike's side cover, caused by an
"accident" (hit and run) last December. The temporary patch sprang a
leak. As I bent over to photograph it, I noticed that it was a very
reflective surface. [Sunnyvale, CA.]
